Iran LNG Co. was established to build a grassroots Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant in Pars II Special Economic Zone, south west of Iran. The venture was created by National Iranian Gas Export Co. (NIGEC) with other partner namely NIOC Pension Funds.

ILC is developing an LNG plant comprising of two 5.4 MTPA capacity train each, in Tombak area, expandable to four trains in future while construction started in August of 2007 in 200 hectares area.
