This package covers process trains, power plant, utilities and off site facilities and also product loading facilities which includes:
1. Gas treating unit
Feed gas coming from the upstream plant and the produced LPG is to be treated in this section which includes following process units: Includes:
- Feed gas metering
- Acid gas removal
- Dehydration and mercaptans removal
Mercury removal - LPG sweetening
Sulfur recovery
2. Liquefaction unit
Dry sweet gas coming from gas treating units will be first fractionated to propane, butane and C5+ and the product LNG then will be produces. The process units of this section are as following:
- Liquefaction
- Refrigeration
Electrical driven compressors - Fractionation
- Nitrogen removal and purification
- Heat exchangers, Cold boxes and proprietary equipment
3. Combined cycle power plan
To meet the power demand of process units, a combined cycle power plant including five GTGs, five HRSGs and 2 STGs with an overall capacity of 1130 MW is designed.
4. Sulfur solidification, storage and loadin
The molten recovered sulfur from natural gas shall be solidified in the form of granules and transferred to the solid sulfur storage and to ship loading by conveyors.
5. Utilities and offsite facilities
Below are the main utilities and required offsite facilities of Iran LNG project:
- Compressed air, instrument air and nitrogen
- Fuel gas and diesel
- Sea water, cooling water, desalinated water, demin water, fire fighting water, and drinking water
- Steam and condensate
- Buildings
- Sea water intake and outfall
- Flare system and the relevant networks e.g. wet gas, dry gas, LP sour gas, tank flare systems
- Fire protection
- Effluent Treatment System
Irrigation system - LNG and LPG rundown lines, loading lined and loading arms
